Who Can We Help?
Your Child's Eligibility for Support
At HomeGrown Helpers, LLC, we work with children from birth to six years old who may benefit from extra support. Eligibility is based on developmental milestones, not a specific diagnosis or income level.
Your child may be eligible for services if they are developing more slowly in any of the following key areas:
-
Learning to Listen and Talk (Communication skills)
-
Getting Along with Others (Social and emotional interaction)
-
Learning How to Think (Cognitive abilities and play)
-
Doing Things on Their Own (Adaptive/self-help skills)
-
Learning to Walk (Physical and motor development)
A Note on Height and Weight
Please note that eligibility for these specific developmental services is generally determined by the developmental delay areas listed above. While physical growth is important for overall health, "Height and Weight" metrics alone do not typically qualify a child for early intervention services unless they are indicators of an underlying condition causing a developmental delay [1]. We focus on the developmental milestones to get your child the right support.
